You & Me - at a glance

I can hardly believe that the You & Me sewing series has come to an end! I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the participants for making the past two weeks so enjoyable!

I would also like to thank Pam from Threading My Way for her lovely guest post, Suz from Sewpony and her daughter Isabella for creating the logo, my sweetest husband for helping with the codes and twenty million other things, and Little Monkey for being my inspiration for this series!

It it not too late to join a sew-along. There are already a few lovely creations added to the You & Me Flicker group. Please feel free to add your projects to the group. On the 16th of June I will do a round up of your creations here on my blog.

    1. Yes Sarah, this is one of my learning from this series - remind about sew-along every time I press the Publish button. Looking forward to seeing your creations!

  2. What a lovely series, I missed the start but am busy following your links above to read more :) It is such a joy sewing for others, especially your family. After some busy middle years where life was too busy for much sewing and somehow Mum-Made became toxic - my teenage children are now more than happy for me to sew for them again.

    1. Thank you Kathy :) Oh I am dreading the time LM will declare she doesn't want to wear mummy-made things anymore (or for some time). Glad to hear your teens are happy to have you sew for them again :)

  4. This has been a beautiful series to watch. It's definitely inspired me to have a go at making more clothes for my little monkey - once I move house and can unpack all my sewing stuff. Thanks for creating the idea Jenya

    1. Thank you for your kind words Lucy. We have just recently moved house, so I remember what it is like to not have access to your sewing gear! Happy unpacking :)
