Well, to continue the tradition I have something to give away on my Birthday. It's not lollies. It's not toys. It's not clothes... It is...
A nappy wallet and a matching take-away coffee cup cosy! Do you like them? Please let me tell you more about each item.
The coffee cup cosy is made out of quilting cotton with bamboo wadding in the middle. I think the button was created for this fabric! I love the fun print, and red is my favourite colour. This cosy will allow you to enjoy your hot beverage without burning your fingers.
The nappy wallet accommodates two walker size nappies, a slim box of wipes and a small changing mat.
This nappy wallet is made out of quilting cotton. I think piping on the strap makes it look a little cheeky. And that button - yum!
This is a much more attractive alternative to carrying spare nappies in a plastic bag ;)

DeleteHappy birthday!!! I don't have any horror stories about nappies out and about but one 3am feeding/diaper change when Olivia was a newborn, she dirtied her diaper while I was feeding her, so I waited until I thought she was done and went to change her, I cleaned her and put a clean diaper under her and before I could even close it up she dirtied that one, so I cleaned her again and the same thing happened, we repeated this process FOUR times before she finally quit! At 3am and sleep deprived I laughed and laughed :)
ReplyDeleteOh after reading this I was in tears - sooo funny :) I bet it was not as funny for you to start with :) Oh those first few weeks :)
DeleteHappy belated birthday, Jenya!!! Gorgeous fabric and the piping makes the nappy wallet look so professional.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam :) I bought a few bits and pieces and can now make my own piping :) yahoo :)

DeleteHappy birthday! I'm in the states and obviously not eligible to enter, but I just had to share my horror story. E was seven months old when we drove to Buffalo NY to visit family. A quick drive to Toronto landed me, E, and my stepmom at an amazing Asian mall. I must have been distracted and not aware of the condition of E's diaper. Before I knew it, she was peeing right out of it--soaking through all her clothing, and even all over the front mine! Of course, the extra clothes were in the car. So I sat in the middle of the Asian mall while my stepmom trekked to the car for the clothes, all the while enduring the stares of countless curious passersby. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a horror story indeed! Good your stepmum was around and she could get stuff out of the car for you!
